Keyboarding Kidz

  1. Go to mymavisbeacon.com/mbkk and choose Activate my key.
  2. Enter the license key from your order email, your email and a password.
  3. Add a typist for each child and start the first lesson.

Teaches Typing

  1. Go to mymavisbeacon.com/mbtt.html and open the Activate key tab.
  2. Enter the license key from your order email, your email and a password.
  3. From then on, just log in with your email and password.

Classroom Edition

  1. Redeem your school key at mymavisbeacon.com/classroom/redeem; you become the school’s admin.
  2. Create classes and invite teachers.
  3. Students join with their class code and PIN.

Common questions

Where is my license key?

Your key arrives by email from Encore Software within a few minutes of checkout, along with a step-by-step activation guide (the Download button in that email). Check your spam or junk folder. Keep the email: your key is your proof of purchase.

I forgot my password

Choose Forgot password? on your program’s sign-in page and enter your email. We’ll send a link to choose a new password; it works for 60 minutes. Classroom students don’t have passwords: their teacher can reset a PIN.

Which computers does it work on?

All three editions run in a current web browser on Windows, Mac and Chromebook. There is nothing to install.

How do I renew?

Keyboarding Kidz and Teaches Typing renew for $19.99 a year. Teaches Typing: renew here. Keyboarding Kidz: renew on encore.com.

I used Keyboarding Kidz before. Do I need a new account?

No. Sign in with the same email or username and password you always used.

I bought a boxed or download desktop edition

Desktop editions (Platinum, Deluxe, Ultrakey and older) are supported by Broderbund at broderbund.com.
